Austin Chinese School

Austin Chinese School is a Texas state registered non-profit organization to provide opportunities for children and adults in our community to learn Chinese language and culture. ACS is one of the largest and most prestigious Chinese Schools in Austin, Texas. Its primary goal is to teach the Chinese language so as to preserve Chinese culture and tradition. Another objective of the school is to promote mutual understanding and integration between Chinese Americans and their local communities.

學校宗旨

    奧斯汀中文學校創立於一九七八年九月。在學生家長主動參與推動校務，社會人士多方贊助下，篳路藍縷，學校規模也從創校之初的三十餘人成長至今日的一百多人。學校工作人員均由家長輪流義務擔任，教師亦僅領取象徵性的酬勞。中文學校多年以來堅持不變的宗旨和努力不懈的目標就是冀望利用有限的資源，能向奧斯汀地區對於學習中文，認識中華文化有興趣的人士，提供一個有系統、有效率的良好學習環境。
