Austin Chinese School was founded in September 1978. Parents actively participated in their children’s education and promoted the school-community partnership to integrate and maintain Chinese culture to teaching and learning. Despite the accomplishment of a fine system of teaching approaches, textbook compilation, and administrative functions, Austin Chinese School aims to develop a greater variety of subject matters in the curriculum design, while continuing to improve current teaching materials and adopt new learning tools.
